Hi - Nice that you landed on my website!

My name is Levi Fitze. I am an enthusiastic nature photographer, ornithologist and filmmaker from eastern Switzerland. 

I discovered my interest in the wilderness at an early age during my summers in the Grisons and the beautiful nature on my doorstep in Appenzell. I was particularly taken with the local birdlife. So at the age of ten I joined the Natrix youth group, which organizes ornithological excursions throughout Switzerland. I quickly developed a second interest - photography. I admired nature photographers and could spend hours watching nature documentaries from all over the world. That's how I was able to buy an SLR camera with my savings at the age of twelve. From then on, it accompanied me on my forays. 

The combination of observing wild animals and capturing these moments formed a passion that still defines my life today.

Last summer I was able to complete my training as an EFZ photo specialist and since then I have been pursuing a long-awaited dream - self-employment as a nature photographer and filmmaker. Taking this step at the age of just eighteen took a lot of effort. But I think my heart left me no other choice :)

Aktuell darf ich an einem Filmprojekt für die Schweizer Kinos arbeiten. Außerdem halte ich Vorträge, organisiere Ausstellungen und widme mich zahlreichen anderen spannenden Projekten rund um die Naturfotografie.
